An introduction to Nancy J. Sims
Puppeteer | Ventriloquist | Storyteller
Men, women, boys and girls know Miss Nancy J. Sims as “Granny Goodheart.” For more than twenty years, she served as a classroom instructor. Miss Nancy received her undergraduate and graduate training at Georgia State University in childhood education. She served as an instructor in Teacher Corps to help disadvantaged children and to assist in their community based projects. Miss Nancy also served as a Chapter 1 classroom instructor at a state facility for troubled youth.
Since 1997, Miss Nancy has performed to the delight of many audiences as a puppeteer, ventriloquist and storyteller.
Miss Nancy received a Fulton County Fellowship in 1998. She has served as a volunteer for organizations such as Egleston Children’s Hospital, Goodwill Industries, and Make a Wish Foundation.
